Reminder for winners, bday presents, and blog awards

Hey, winners TilT and My7kids (Theresa and Nikki), I need to hear back from you with what your item choice and color preferences are! (The info on what you could pick is here.)

I wanted to show off some other things I got for my birthday. ;) My best friend and her boyfriend (he's one of my friends now, too) came over last night to play the Order of the Stick game for a bit and to give me my presents and cake. I forgot to get a picture of the yummy awesome cake Care and her mom baked me (darnit! I'm so not used to having a camera handy!), but trust me, it was yummy. :D

They came in with balloons, which scared the crap out of the puppy (not literally, thank goodness!)

My favorite is the one you can't see in the picture- it has a dog on it and says "birthdays bite". ;)

And here are the presents Care got me- books! Yay, books!

One is a crochet pattern book to make cute little monsters, one is the quotation Discworld book, and the third is the new (non-Discworld) Terry Pratchett book. :D

Blog Awards
Unrelated to birthdays, but still awesome, two of my good beading friends Sue and Brenda gave me blog awards! :D Thanks, ladies!

For the "Premio Meme Award" from Sue, I have to give 7 facts about myself (I'm actually putting together a list of 100 things from another blog I read, so I'll steal from that unfinished list, lol!).
1.) I currently have a long-term temporary health problem (as in it'll last years, but not forever) in the oh-so-wonderful experience of medication withdrawal caused by being put on a SSRI for a stomach problem as a teenager (that's right- it wasn't even for a psychological reason that I'm going through this). It is NOT fun and messes with me mentally and physically, and makes it hard to do things- most days I'm not up to even leaving the house.
2.) My big irrational fear is spiders (I think it's because webs freak me out, but it could also be from having The Hobbit read to me when I was six).
3.) I love being outdoors and in nature, but I hate insects. It makes it hard being outside!
4.) I have never spent more than 10 minutes getting myself dressed and ready for the day. Usually it's more like 30 seconds- I'm lucky if I find a hairbrush (my hair is short, so wild works).
5.) I've always been jealous of my sister's appearance- not because I want to be thin so I fit the stereotype of beauty, but because if I were thin with small boobs it would be easier to pass myself as a boy on the days I want to be androgynous.
6.) I've been friends with my best friend for ten years now- I consider her my twin sister. :D
7.) My oddest roleplay characters were animals: a unicorn, a raven, and a dog; all three were sidekicks to my main characters and two out of those three could also talk. This oddness isn't even including the Orc I currently play in D&D, or my Elven Werepanther; at least those were humanoid. ;)
